From December 10th-12th, 2018 we will be presenting our latest research results in the area of Supply Chain Management (SCM) at the “2018 POMS International Conference in Rio”. The first article analyzed different slotting policies in warehouses and their trade-off between efficiency and resilience to changing product demand patterns. The second article demonstrates the use of Reservoir Computing (RC) for product demand forecasting with results that outperform traditional mathematical forecasting models.
