Effectively October 5th, 2018 UPB has created the Institute for Computational Intelligence (ICI). At ICI we pursue two main objectives: (1) Train promising students in the use of artificial intelligence and computational methods and (2) apply computational intelligence to relevant social, economic and environmental problems of Bolivia. Through these two objectives we hope to create a lasting contribution to a more sustainable socioeconomic development and to provide new perspectives to young students and public and private professionals.
